We came to Lauren when our student decided to join orchestra 2 years after his peers. From the first lesson, Lauren was excellent! She keeps them engaged and ready to learn every week. The students work through lesson books but she also makes time for personal selection of music, which he really enjoyed. There is an optional recital that is a great learning opportunity for the students to show off everything they have learned.
Thanks to Lauren he has progressed well through the orchestra levels and has developed a lifetime love of the cello.

Our son played the saxophone in 6th grade but wanted to switch to cello for 7th grade. He was just beginning cello heading into 7th grade and needed to get caught up from what the students learned in 6th grade. Lauren was awesome! She’s super kind and worked so well with our son. He feels so confident going in to 7th grade orchestra. His orchestra teacher was very pleased to hear what he had already learned through the summer with Lauren. Highly recommend her music lessons!

Lauren is the best! She’s patient, kind, encouraging, and a wonderful/gifted teacher. She has the ability to get the best from her students. The lesson flies by and I always leave energized to work harder and get better.

As an adult beginner I’ve been going to Lauren’s Music Studio for a couple of months now. I’ve found it a perfect place for me to begin learning the violin! The studio is Beautiful! Lauren is a Knowledgeable, fantastic, and caring teacher!

I was a student of Lauren's back when she was in Nebraska - and I haven't been able to find a violin instructor as good as her since she moved out of the state.
Are you looking for up-beat fiddle tunes? She is great at teaching them.
Are you looking for more classical training? She excels at it.
Are you looking for a music teacher who is good with both adults and kids? Lauren adapts her style to the age and maturity level of her student (I'm an adult who sometimes acts like a child).
If you or your child are considering learning the violin, and you live anywhere near Lauren - then I'm jealous of you, and you should give her a call.

Lauren was my fiddle instructor while she was teaching in Lincoln, NE and I definitely enjoyed my lessons and learned a few things during that time. Lessons were tailored for my preferences - in my case I'm an adult who was more interested in fiddle tunes rather than the usual violin path. It was fun being able to suggest tunes I was interested in learning alongside the typical stuff.
